Ronaldo will start the Saudi chapter as captain
Two Saudi Pro League clubs, Al Nasr and Al Hilal, will jointly form a team to play a friendly match against French giants PSG. Cristiano Ronaldo's Saudi chapter will begin with this match. Not only that, Ronaldo will also captain the team against PSG. General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Chairman Turki Al Sheikh tweeted on Monday.
He posted a video of Ronaldo wearing the armband.
After leaving Manchester United, Ronaldo signed with Saudi Arabian club Al Nasr. Ronaldo has not made his debut on the field even though he has started training for the club. This Portuguese star will make his debut in Saudi football with the Riyadh Session Cup match at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh next Thursday.
On the other hand, if everything goes well, Ronaldo will meet his archrival Lionel Messi again with this match. The last time the two met was in December 2020. Juventus won 3-0 against Messi's Barcelona in that Champions League match. Ronaldo scored two goals for the Italian club.
